LAS VEGAS -- Wabissa Bede, of Mass Rivals, is one of the breakout performers of July. What schools are starting to prioritize him? Bed breaks it down with Scout.

Evaluation Notes

Last year it was Wenyen Gabriel that emerged during the month of July for Vinny Pastore’s Mass Rivals team. This go around, it’s 6-foot-1 lead guard Wabissa Bede that has raised his level of play for the adidas sponsored program.

After scoring 25 points on the opening day of the final July evaluation period, Bede backed it up with 10-point, 5-assist outing in a blow out win over Game Elite.

Bede, a 6-foot-1 guard, is an aggressive guard prospect. He’s quick, has a good feel for the game and is a talented passer. On Thursday, Bede pit a pair of three-pointers, plus got to the rim. Bede also impresses on the defensive, where he competes, slides his feet and uses his length to impact things. Schools
