Las Vegas: No. 2 Romeo Langford goes for 40

LAS VEGAS -- Scout's No. 2 overall prospect in the 2018 class, Romeo Langford, dropped 40 points in an impressive outing on Friday afternoon at the adidas Summer Championship.

2018 shooting guard Romeo Langford has had his fair share of impressive performances this year, but his 40-point outing at the adidas Summer Championship on Friday was up there with the best of them.

Langford, who stands 6-5, showed an effortless scoring attack. He began the game with a trio of long-range shots, including two from well behind the three-point stripe. He then began mixing in drives, tossed in floaters and got to the free throw line. By half time, Langford had pumped in 25 points on 9-for-12 shooting.

Although he didn't quite replicate his first half, his second half was good enough to help catapult EG10 to a win. He had a couple of very impressive adjusting finishes at the rim, made a catch and shoot three and made free throws down the stretch.

Langford, Scout's No. 2 player, is a tremendous long term talent. The game appears to come easy to him, he's an elite level athlete and he plays it the right way. To go with the scoring arsenal he possesses, Langford is a very good rebounder for a guard and has the potential to be a lockdown perimeter defender.

Langford has a long list of suitors that includes the likes of DukeIndiana, KansasKentuckyLouisville, North CarolinaPurdue and UCLA.
