A host of college coaches lined the court for Brookwood Elite’s games this weekend at the adidas Summer Championship.
Among the attractions was Brookwood Elite guard Luguentz Dort. The 6-foot-4 combination guard showed a tough, aggressive brand of basketball.
Playing on the ball, Dort looked to drive the ball every opportunity he got. He showed good vision, created shots for teammates and also did a good job of finishing at the basket.
“I really like to drive and pass the ball and talk to guys and be loud on the court and play strong,” Dort said.
Dort averaged 20.5 points, seven rebounds and 2.3 assists through six games at the Summer Championship.
“Everything is going well,” he said about the evaluation periods. “This summer I added five offers.”
“I’m going to take a visit to Oregon,” he said. “I like how they play and I like their coach a lot.”
After playing at Jacksonville (Fla.) Arlington Country last season, Dort is planning to transfer and play elsewhere next year. He hasn’t decided on his school.
