A strong spring and summer on the AAU circuit as an unsigned senior has led to an elevated recruitment for Chris Seeley.
The 6-foot-6, 205-pound power forward from Fresno (Calif.) Central has a good frame with long arms and is very athletic. The 2016 prospect plays hard, rebounds, finishes well and should be able to defend both forward spots at the next level.
According to LeRohn Dodson, who coached the three-star prospect on the Splash City AAU squad, Seeley has set up three official visits. He'll trip to Washington State on Aug. 1, UTEP on Aug. 5 and Oregon State on Aug. 8.
"Chris wants to get a feel on how he's is going to be developed and used at his next stop," Dodson said. "He has high upside and will probably transition into a wing eventually. So future development is a big part of what he's looking for.
"He also is looking for a place where he feels comfortable and wanted. A great support system is something very important to him and his family."
Seeley doesn't have a favorite heading into visits.
"Although UTEP has been recruiting him the longest and hardest, there's no leader at this point," Dodson said.
