Big List For Harris

Alex Harris played very well in July and, as a result, he's now hearing from a wide variety of schools...

Alex Harris, 6-4 SR SG Alameda (Calif.) St. Joseph Notre Dame, is a very intriguing wing who can score in a number of ways.

We spoke with Alex yesterday and asked him which schools have been calling him since the end of July.

"Several Ivy League schools -- Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Penn. Oregon State, Stanford, Pacific, UC Davis, UC Irvine, Cal Poly, St. Mary's, Santa Clara, San Diego, UC Riverside...a few others," said Harris.

We asked if any schools stand out from the rest and Harris replied, "Not really. I'm going to have some in-home visits and after I do that I'll narrow it down to five schools that I want to visit."

Harris said Santa Clara and UC Riverside have talked with him about in-home visits sometime after September 15th.

Harris hasn't been on any official visits yet, but said he's been to St. Mary's unofficially and he had a chance to meet the UC Riverside coaches at a camp.

We asked if he planned on making a fall decision and Harris said, "At this point, I plan on signing in the fall, but we'll see how the visits go."
