The Villanova Wildcats will be the first team to get an official visit from four-star forward Jermaine Samuels. A versatile forward who had a tremendous July, Samuels is now set to visit the Wildcats on August 24.
Villanova is one of the schools that has been recruiting Samuels the longest, and is considered one of the favorites to land his services. Samuels is seen as someone who could fit into the style Villanova has been so successful with over the past few seasons. He has the ability to play both the small forward and power forward positions, and gives schools a chance to switch screens and play with a lot of different roster combinations.
Along with Villanova, Indiana and Kansas are also heavily involved with Samuels. Both the Hoosiers and Jayhawks offered Samuels after seeing him during July with Expressions Elite.
His high motor style and impressive athleticism have made Samuels one of the more intriguing forwards in the class, and he is someone who could be due for a rankings bump when they are next updated.
