Suljagic Lines Up First Visit

Damir Suljagic tells us he has a visit set for September and he's considering a couple more...

We spoke with Damir Suljagic, 6-8 SR PF Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe recently and asked him which schools have been calling him lately.

"Texas Tech, Arizona State, Washington, UC Santa Barbara, Loyola Marymount, Long Beach State, Stanford, Rice, Sacramento State and Wyoming," said Suljagic.

Suljagic told us that he has set up his first official visit. "I'm going to Texas Tech the weekend of September 26th," said Suljagic. "I may have an in-home visit with Coach Knight after that."

When we asked if there are any other schools that he's pretty sure he'll visit, Suljagic replied, "Washington and Stanford -- I want to take official visits to those schools. I'll probably take an unofficial visit to Arizona State."

Suljagic said a couple schools have offered scholarships at this point. "Wyoming and UC Santa Barbara have offered scholarships," said Suljagic. "Texas Tech says I'm one of their top three recruits."

We asked if any schools stand out for him at the moment and Suljagic said, "Not really. I want to narrow down my list in the next couple weeks."

Suljagic said he plans on staying in the west and he will sign in the fall.
