Four-star power forward Kyle Young is entering the home stretch in his recruitment. The inside-out threat who can stretch the floor or score down low has set two visits, with another two being possible.
“I actually have two visits set up,” Young informed Scout.com. “This weekend I am going to Butler for my official visit and then I know I am going to Ohio State the weekend of September 9.”
Young continued, “I am hoping to set up visits to the other two schools on my list, Clemson and Purdue, but I don’t know when yet.”
One school that is no longer under consideration for Young is Michigan. The Wolverines and Young decided to part ways after Michigan received a commitment from Isaiah Livers, so now his list is at four.
Of the two schools that have visits set up, one is a big public school while the other is a smaller private school. While they may be different, Young says they are both under consideration because of one very similar thing.
“It is just the relationships that I have developed with the schools on my list,” said Young. “I have a great relationship with all of the coaches and I feel that even though they are different, all are schools that could fit me best.”
When on the visits, Young says one thing is going to be more important the rest.
“I just really want to get to meet the players,” said Young. “I want to see more than I saw on the unofficial visits and see how I fit in with all of the guys and the coaches as well.”
For now Young has no leader in his recruitment, but he does know when he wants to make a final decision.
“I know I want to decide by the end of September,” noted Young.
