Dickey Schedules Three Visits

Ra'Sean Dickey is a man of few words. The South Carolina power forward isn't a huge conversationalist but he's a Top 50 player and a priority for a number of programs.

Ra'Sean Dickey, a power forward with the S.C. Ravens, has narrowed his list. Currently, he's looking at five programs. The list reads Georgia Tech, Arizona, Auburn, St. John's and Iowa State.

Early in August, Dickey made an unofficial visit to Tech with his AAU teammate Zam Frederick. According to Dickey, the trip went well and it's led to his scheduling an official visit to Atlanta.

The Yellow Jackets have an official visit set up with Dickey for Sept. 20. In fact, that's going to be a significant weekend in Yellow Jacket land. So far, we've confirmed that the Jackets will have Dickey, Russell Robinson and Jason Rich on campus.

Dickey has two other official visits scheduled. His first will be to Auburn the weekend of August 30. Auburn spent a considerable amount of time with him this summer. So did Iowa State and they'll receive an official visit on the 13th.

Iowa State's involvement with Dickey is interesting. Clearly the tie with the Cyclones is assistant coach Fred Quartlebaum. When Quartlebaum was with the Tar Heels, he was charged with the task of recruiting Dickey. Since he departure to Iowa State, the power forward he been mentioning the Cyclones for that reason.

The remaining schools on Dickey's list – Arizona and St. John's – have not set up official visit dates yet.
