Among the headliners at the La Lumiere Combine this weekend was five-star wing Brian Bowen.
The 6-foot-7 wing is regarded as Scout's No. 20 overall prospect because of his terrific size for the position, mixed with his unique ability to score the ball in a variety of ways. Bowen showed that in the combine scrimmage, scoring the ball from mid-range, off post ups and at the rim. Although he didn't shoot it great in three-point drills, he does have very good shot mechanics and with time and reps he projects as a fine shooter from distance.
Michigan's John Beilein and Arizona's Sean Miller were the two head coaches at La Lumiere to see the 6-foot-7 wing. Michigan State, Creighton, Notre Dame, Kentucky and Texas had assistant coaches in attendance.
UCLA is also involved in Bowen's recruitment.
