Four-star shooting guard Jordan Poole made the decision to transfer to La Lumiere for his senior season. The sharp shooting Poole is already committed to Michigan, and he is hoping to shine as a senior.
“I am just looking to try and play as close to the way I will at the next level,” said Poole of his senior season. “I want to improve my speed and continue to get better physically. I want to make the right plays and decisions and just be more consistent.”
The 6-foot-4 Poole made an early commitment to Michigan over Illinois. Since then he has been excited about his future, and he continues to build a close bond with the coaching staff in Ann Arbor.
“Knowing that I am committed, it is great,” said Poole. “The coaches tell me what I need to work on, and what I can fix. Just being able to talk to the coaches is great.”
As a key piece to the current Michigan recruiting class, Poole thinks that things are looking very bright in Ann Arbor in the future. Now Poole is hoping to help reel in one of the biggest fish out there, one that Michigan has made sure to get involved with.
“I like our class a lot,” said Poole. “I am talking to Mo (Bamba) to try and get a dominant big man. I think if you combine the class we have now with the class we brought in, in 2016 I think we are going to be one of the best teams in the country.”
Look for Poole to play both shooting guard and some point guard as a senior at La Lumiere. He is hoping to be able to play both positions in college, and continues to be someone who impacts the game with his ability to shoot the basketball.
Currently Poole ranks just outside of the top 100, and is focused on being a leader on one of the best high school basketball teams in the country.null
