Moulaye Niang, 6-10 C El Cajon (Calif.) Christian, told us recently that he is considering San Diego St., Kansas, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Liberty and Yale.
San Diego St. has already visited for an in-home and Moulaye said the visit went well. "Coach Fisher presented the school and what they had to offer," Moulaye said. "It was good."
Kansas and Georgia Tech both had to reschedule their in-homes due to the terrorist attacks. No date has been set for either school. Moulaye will host New Mexico for an in-home on Thursday and then plans on setting up some official visits.
Moulaye told us that he's taken an unofficial trip to San Diego St. "I just walked around the campus," he said.
Michigan has just recently started calling, according to Moulaye, who said, "I'm not sure how serious they are."
We asked if a leader has emerged and Moulaye replied, "No, I'm still open. I need to take my visits before I cut down my list."
Moulaye also told us that he scored 810 on his first attempt at the SAT, but had a 3.8 GPA in his first semester last year and a 4.0 in the second.
He plans on signing in the fall.
