During his entire recruiting process Nojel Eastern and his mother have kept things very close to the vest. The versatile and intriguing Eastern is one of the better passers in the class and possesses the size and intelligence to play all over the court on both offense and defense. Now Eastern is set to announce his college decision.
While Eastern hasn't given many hints as to where he is leaning, he has made visits to DePaul, Seton Hall, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Purdue. All of the schools have had their chance to see where they stand, and all have done a good job of selling Eastern on how he will be used.
Eastern seems to like places who have told him he will be a point guard, or a primary ball handler who initiates the offense, though publicly he has been a little bit inconsistent in caring about that.
The decision from Eastern will come at 4:45 ET at his high school, and he is expected to sign his Letter of Intent at that point in time.
As a four-star prospect with significant talent, Eastern would be a big addition for any of the schools involved, as all have the need to add depth to their backcourt.
