Thomas Narrows List; Sets Visits

The #1 point guard in the west, Quentin Thomas, has narrowed his list down to three schools -- and has almost all of his in-home and official visits set over the course of the next month...

Quentin Thomas, 6-2 SR PG, Oakland (Calif.) Tech, has narrowed his list to three schools, according to his father, John.

"He's down to ASU, Kansas and North Carolina," John said.

Oregon and Utah were eliminated within the last couple of days.

Thomas has just about completed his in-home and official visit schedule also: He'll have an in-home visit with ASU on Sept. 9th; and the Kansas coaching staff will be in the Thomas house Sept. 11th. He then trips officially to ASU on the weekend of the 12th. Then, the Monday after he returns from that visit, he'll get another in-home visit from North Carolina.

Thomas will then visit Kansas officially Sept. 26th. He has yet to arrange his official visit with North Carolina, while the Tar Heels' head coach Roy Williams is out of the country.

John Thomas said that his son doesn't have a leader, but they intend to make a decision relatively quickly after he visits North Carolina, which they want to be sometime in September or early October. "We'd like him to make a decision by the end of October and get it over with," John said.
