Kyree Walker

Two early offers for 2020 NorCal prospect Kyree Walker

Kyree Walker is a talented 2020 prospect from Northern California who already has a couple scholarship offers even though his high school career has just begun.

One of the top 2020 prospects on the West Coast is 6-foot-6, 195-pound Hayward (Calif.) Moreau Catholic wing Kyree Walker.

The freshman has good size, impressive vision, ball skills and the ability to hit jumpers, especially from midrange and in.

“I’m an all-around player and try to do everything well,” Walker said. “I love to get my team involved but when it’s time to get a bucket I can get one. I want to get better at my all-around game.”

Walker holds two scholarship offers right now and broke down what he likes about the programs which have offered.

“The most interest I’ve received so far is from Arizona and St. John's and I have offers from both schools,” Walker said.

Arizona: “I know a lot about them. Stanley Johnson was an Oakland Soldier who went there and Aaron Gordon and Brandon Ashley went there as well.”

St. John’s: “They’re in New York and I’m learning about them still. I know Marcus LoVett goes there. I’m going to keep learning about them.”

Even though Walker isn’t too concerned about his recruitment right now, he has a handful of dream schools.

“My dream schools are Arizona, Kentucky, Duke and North Carolina but I’m thankful to have any schools looking at me,” he said.
