Hunter Woods

2018 SoCal wing Hunter Woods holds two offers

Hunter Woods is promising 2018 prospect with two offers. Here's an intro to his game and recruitment.

One of the top sleeper 2018 wings on the West Coast comes from Pasadena (Calif.) Muir in Hunter Woods.

The 6-foot-6, 175-pound small forward has size and length, plays hard, rebounds in and outside of his area, is a good passer and improving scorer.

“I’ve been working on my ball handling and finishing around the rim,” Woods said. “I want to stay consistent with my shot and be more aggressive.”

Woods holds offers from Nevada and Cal Baptist with interest coming in from Boise State, USC, Gonzaga and Texas Tech.

Nevada has done a good job recruiting Woods to date.

“I like how they have a plan for me,” Woods said. “They’ve been real consistent with their recruiting of me. They check up on me all the time and seem like they care about me. They’re close with my family.”

The junior has an idea of what he’ll be looking for in a school.

“I want to go to a team that plays fast and together,” Woods said. “I want to fit in wherever I go.”
