Emerging 2018 SF Matt Bradley’s recruitment picking up steam

Matt Bradley is one of the West Coast's top small forwards in 2018. Here's an intro to his game and recruitment.

One of the West Coast’s top wings in 2018 comes from San Bernardino (Calif.) in 6-foot-4, 210-pound small forward Matt Bradley.

The former football player looks the part in terms of his size and strength but the physical prospect is more than a power wing, as he’s a terrific passer who can also hit jumpers.

“I’m getting better,” Bradley said. “I’m getting in better shape and my shot is getting better. I just need to keep working on my handle.”

Offers for Bradley have come in from Nevada, UC Riverside, Utah State and UTEP, with five programs recruiting him the hardest.

“Nevada, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, Grand Canyon and Cal are the main schools recruiting me hard and talking to me every day,” Bradley said.

Bradley is hoping to hear more from a local program.

USC is my dream school but I want to go anywhere I can come in and get a lot of playing time,” he said.

The junior has an idea what he wants in a program.

“I want a players’ coach who lets their players play,” Bradley said. “I want good teammates while I’m there. Academics are important too.”
