"It was real good," Pruitt said. "It was my first official so I didn't know what to expect. It was real nice."
"They really have a lot of things planned out for me like what they see happening in the next couple of years. They showed me a power point presentation and it was comforting to see that they do have a plan for me."
And of course, the Spartans left him with a positive feeling about their program. Now, Illinois gets its chance on Sept. 13. This is shaping up to be quite and interesting two-team recruiting battle.
"There's not a leader. Of course, I'm thinking about Michigan State more because I just went on an official and after visiting Illinois that might change; that's why you go home and think about it. It's a tough decision."

"I should be. I've seen enough of both of the programs so that should be plenty. I'm not going to make a decision at Illinois if I feel good about them. Of course I'd be excited so I'd just wait a couple of days and think about it.
"I can't go wrong at Michigan State and I can't go wrong at Illinois either."
Pruitt ranks No. 67 in our pre-season Top 100.
