Five-star combo guard Cole Anthony has been one of the top players in New York City his first two years. Also starring on the EYBL circuit with the PSA Cardinals, Anthony has made himself a must recruit player in the 2019 class.
With high level athleticism and an explosive ability to score, Anthony has had a monster sophomore season. He plays on and off the ball, and has shown his long term potential.
About the season, Anthony said, “The year is going pretty well, and I feel I have been playing alright. I work on every aspect of my game to continue to improve.”
On the recruiting trail a long list of schools have reached out to Anthony. Schools such as Georgetown, Seton Hall, Rutgers, St. John’s, Louisville, UNLV, Maryland, Wake Forest, and a host of others have all made it clear he is a priority recruit.
While Anthony is taking a low key approach to his recruitment at the moment, he has seen a game at Maryland.
When it comes to the Maryland trip, Anthony said, “It was a crazy atmosphere. They were playing a low division I team, but I could tell how big the team is I could tell it would be crazy.”
Anthony is a long way away from making his college decision, and he hopes to take a lot of trips before issuing a commitment.
