LSU will fire Johnny Jones following the SEC tournament, a source confirmed to Scout.
Jones, 55, is finishing his fifth season at LSU, where he's compiled a record of 90-71, including 10-20 this season.
Jones made the NCAA Tournament in his third year at the helm, but missed last season with Ben Simmons running the show and would have to win the SEC Tournament to make the Big Dance this year.
Prior to LSU, Jones was the head coach at North Texas for 11 season and also had a year stint as the head coach at Memphis. Jones won the Sun Belt tournament championship at North Texas in 2007 and 2010.
Jones played at LSU from 1980-1984 and was also an assistant for the Tigers from 1984-1987.
