Four-star 2017 SG Juhwan Harris-Dyson sticking with Cal

Wyking Jones was named as Cuonzo Martin's replacement on Friday. Following the news, the family of four-star Cal signee Juhwan Harris-Dyson affirmed his commitment to the Golden Bears.

Once news hit of head coach Cuonzo Martin's departure for Missouri, there were questions of which members of Cal's 2017 class would stick with the Golden Bears.

One of Cal's top signees in the class is Juhwan Harris-Dyson, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound shooting guard from Northridge (Calif.) Heritage Christian.

On Friday, Cal announced that assistant Wyking Jones had been promoted to head coach of the Bears, which was welcome news to the Harris-Dyson family.

"We are committed to Cal and remain excited and eager to get to campus and start the new Wyking Jones Head Coaching era," said Jeff Dyson, Juhwan's father.

Harris-Dyson will give Jones a long and versatile guard who will be able to play and defend multiple spots on both sides of the court.
