What are you trying to show this week?
This week I’m just trying to show everyone what I do, what I usually do. I distribute the ball well, get everybody involved, I get to the basket, I hit the open shot and just play my game.
How have you progressed as a senior?
I think I have progressed a lot. Starting from the beginning of my senior to now, I have gotten a lot better. I’m starting to understand the game a lot more, I’m just growing a lot as a player and maturing.
Recruiting wise, have you gotten any closer to figuring things out? What’s your timetable at this point?
No, not really. Hopefully I will decide around April or May.
Are you looking for something? Rosters? How do you narrow things down from here?
At this point it’s just looking at rosters and seeing who’s leaving and seeing who’s staying really.
You’ve taken all of your visits now, what stood out to you about each of them?
Duke, I went on their visit when they played North Carolina so it was really fun to see that game.
Baylor was also a really good visit. I enjoyed their campus and they showed me their weight training, which was top of the line.
Kansas also was really good. Everything there was high level. They have a lot of different technology that they use to help the players get better.
Arizona is a beautiful place. The weather was amazing, the campus was beautiful, the fans are really good, and you know Arizona is just Arizona.
Seton Hall was another great visit to go on, especially during the Big East Tournament. To see all of that going on was like really cool.
What is the number one factor for you?
“Where can Trevon Duval become the best basketball player he can be for the next level?”
Do you feel comfortable that you can step into any of those places and have the reins right away?
Yeah, any of those places I feel like I can step in and sort of lead the way and lead the pack, I guess.
