Four-star wing Roberto Gittens decommits from Boise State, reclassifies to 2018

One of Washington's top 2017 prospects has opened his recruitment, as four-star wing Roberto Gittens decommitted from Boise State and will reclassify to 2018.

Roberto Gittens has opened his recruitment and will reclassify to 2018, sources tell Scout.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound wing from Tacoma (Wash.) Foss committed to Boise State in the fall, but will now reopen his recruitment.

While it’s too early to say which schools will be involved in Gittens’ recruitment this time around, location will not be in an issue.

“He’s definitely willing to play anywhere,” said Reggie Walker, who will coach Gittens this summer with Portland Basketball Club on the EYBL circuit.

“It’s all about the right fit, a coach who believes in him, has a connection in him and a coach that showcases his ability.”

Gittens is currently Scout’s 26th ranked small forward in the 2017 class.
