Playing on a loaded travel team doesn't allow a ton of opportunities for Malcolm Dandridge, but he is still able to flash his significant potential. A big man who can run the floor, has good hands, and good touch, Dandridge shows very quickly why he is a four-star prospect, and why high-major colleges are beginning to take notice.
About this spring and summer, Dandridge said, "I am hoping to improve my offensive game. I want to be better on the post with my iso moves and drop steps."
When it comes to his recruitment it is still early, but at the moment two schools have shown the most interest in him.
Florida has been extremely active in the city of Memphis behind the efforts of assistant coach Jordan Mincy, and Dandridge plans to take a long look at the Gators.
"I am a big fan of Florida," said Dandridge. "Chris Chiozza is from Memphis and went down there and I like his game, so it is good to hear from them. I think Florida could be a good look."
Memphis has been hit by transfers this off season, but Dandridge went to most Memphis games this season, and liked what he saw.
"I went to a lot of Memphis games this year," said Dandridge of the Tigers. "I liked the atmosphere there and I enjoyed going to the games."
At the moment Dandridge is in no hurry to make a decision, and says he wants to make more visits before coming to any conclusion on his recruitment.
