Shaq's son, Top 40 2018 prospect Shareef O'Neal, commits to Arizona

Shareef O'Neal, the 2018 Top 40 son of Hall of Fame center Shaquille O'Neal, committed to Arizona on Wednesday, he announced.

Arizona picked up its second 2018 commitment, as the son of Hall of Fame center Shaquille O'Neal, Shareef O'Neal, pledged to the Wildcats.

Shareef, a 6-foot-9, 200-pound power forward from Santa Monica (Calif.) Crossroads, announced his commitment early Wednesday morning via Twitter.

O'Neal is an athletic four man with good size, length and athleticism who can score with his jumper or around the basket. His physical tools give him upside as a rebounder and defender.

The face up four is Scout's 36th ranked prospect in the class. He joins five-star small forward Emmanuel Akot in Arizona's 2018 haul.

Scout will have more on O'Neal's commitment on Wednesday.
