A.J. Reeves has been putting on a show at the adidas Gauntlet

FORT WORTH, Tex - Four-star wing A.J. Reeves looks like he has taken his game to a new level, and has been a dominant force for the Mass Rivals at the adidas Gauntlet.

One of the most consistent performers all weekend at the adidas Gauntlet has been A.J. Reeves. The Mass Rivals star put on a show shooting the basketball, and a lot of coaches are really taking notice of his play.

"I think I am playing pretty well," said Reeves. "I am trying to get better and keep improving my shooting and ball handling. Also I feel like I’ve worked hard to get my body right and keep getting stronger."

Coming into the event Reeves had offers from schools such as SyracuseVillanovaProvidenceXavierVirginia TechRutgersCreighton and others.

About who has made it clear he is a priority, Reeves said, "Numerous schools came to see me in the spring and I’ve been getting calls all week. It has been a lot of schools and a lot of schools have been at our games."

He continued about colleges, "I am looking for a good fit. I want to go somewhere that there are minutes available and fits how I play. Also I want to go somewhere that will prepare me not only for basketball, but life after basketball."

When it comes to making a decision, Reeves remains open. He doesn't want to put a timeline on things, and says when he knows the place is right for him, that is when he will decide.

"All that matters to me is if it is the right fit," said Reeves. "Right now I am just focusing on these two live weekends, but then after that all that matters to me is finding the right school, and when I find it I will know."
