Jeremiah Robinson held up to his reputation as one of the nation’s top 2019 power forwards this weekend in New York.
The 6-foot-8, 220-pound post from Shawnee Mission (Kans.) Bishop Miege had an impressive weekend at the UnderArmour Association playing with KC Run GMC, using his high motor and skill to score and rebound in the paint.
“I’m hard working,” Robinson said. “I have a motor and I work hard all day long. I’m working on shooting and ball handling still.”
Scout's 25th ranked 2019 prospect says he’s built particularly strong relationships with three coaches so far.
“Coach Danny Manning at Wake Forest, coach (Norm) Roberts at Kansas and coach (Ryan) Humphrey at Notre Dame,” Robinson said, before breaking down what he likes about each school.
Wake Forest: “I really like the coaching staff there.”
Kansas: “It’s a great program. Everyone wants to play there; it’s one of the top programs in the country.”
Notre Dame: “It’s a great school. The atmosphere and coaching staff are both really good.”
The five-star prospect is in no rush to make a decision.
“Probably this time next summer,” he said. “I’m not worried about it right now.”
