Four-star forward Darius Bazley is back open

Ohio State lost a key piece to its 2018 recruiting class on Wednesday as Darius Bazley re-opened his recruitment.

In the fall it looked like Ohio State had a key piece to their future set with the commitment of Darius Bazley. The Cincinnati native became the third member of an in-state class headed to Columbus, but now Bazley has re-opened his recruitment.

"After speaking with my family I have decided to de-commit and open up my recruitment," said Bazley. "This has not been an easy decision because my family and I have built a relationship with Ohio State."

Bazley will now look at other schools. Before committing to Ohio State, he had significant interest from schools such as XavierCincinnati, and Purdue. Look for numerous schools in the Midwest to reach back out to Bazley and monitor him this upcoming weekend during the Under Armour Association.

Ohio State still has two commitments in its 2018 class.
