adidas: Romeo Langford scores 20 in front of big name coaches

EMERSON, Ga. -- Five-star guard Romeo Langford went for 20 points on 7-for-17 shooting during his opening game of the second evaluation period at adidas Uprising.

Five-star guard Romeo Langford drew a heck of a crowd Friday evening on the opening day of the adidas Gauntlet Atlanta stop.

Archie Miller, Rick Pitino and Mike Kryzewski were among the head coaches watching Scout's No. 3 player against Ramey Jets United.

Langford, a 6-foot-5 wing, scored 20 points on 7-for-17 shooting.

After a tough first half, Langford showed his full arsenal in the second frame.  Langford, who is equipped with a 6-11 wingspan, showed his impressive change of speed, athleticism and scoring ability both at the rim and from long-range.

Langford pumped in a pair of three-pointers, made runners and had a ridiculous dunk in transition, where he hit a defender with a hesitation and exploded to the rim.

To go with IndianaLouisville and Duke, Langford was also watched by assistant coaches from KentuckyNorth CarolinaKansas and others.
