It was a very impressive morning showing for Noah Locke on Satuday. Locke finished with 29 points, six rebounds, and five assists in Team Melo's win. While those raw numbers were impressive, it was even better given that Locke was extremely efficient as he only took 16 shots in the process. Performances like those are what have Locke garnering more interest on the recruiting trail.
"I think we have come together as a team," said Locke of the spring. "We have taken some tough losses, but I think now we’ve come together as a team."
He continued, "I’ve been working on my ball handling and being aggressive on the floor every possession. Also I have worked on my defense."
Since then even more schools have come into the picture.
About the offer from Georgia Tech, Locke said, "It felt good to get that offer. The ACC is one of the biggest conferences in the country, and it showed that I can compete at any level."
Providence made sure to be a consistent presence at Locke's games, and says he has a very strong relationship with the school.
"We have a really good relationship," said Locke of the Friars. "Coach (Ed) Cooley is a great guy and we can talk about anything. Also my family really likes him and thinks he is a good person, and I also have a good relationship with the assistants."
Also the Xavier Musketeers have been extremely active, and Lock feels he can fit in well there.
"It is going really good with Xavier," noted Locke. "I like the way they let their guards play, and Coach (Chris) Mack and Coach (Mike) Pegues know what I can do and appreciate my game. Also they are great guys and it is a great program."
The Florida Gators have also been making Locke a priority, and he likes what he has seen from the SEC power.
"I love the atmosphere there," noted Locke. "I have watched them on TV a lot, and they have good fans who support them. Also they let their guards play and let them show what they are capable of."
