Jermaine Harris keeps seeing his offer list expand

Big man Jermaine Harris continues to put up big numbers this spring, and has added some big offers.

Big man Jermaine Harris has been a big time force for DC Premier so far on the Under Armour Association. Harris combines high level athleticism with an impressive motor and improving skills to be one of the more intriguing bigs on the East Coast.

"I think I have played pretty well," said Harris of the spring. "I know I could play more in the post than I have because my team needs me down there, but overall I think the spring has gone well. I am just trying to improve."

Harris came into the spring with offers from West VirginiaVirginia Tech, and Rhode Island. Since then he has added a few more offers to his total.

"I just got offers from Georgetown, Georgia, and Old Dominion," said Harris.

Harris became one of the first prospects in the 2018 class to get an offer from the Hoyas and new boss Patrick Ewing.

About the offer, Harris said, "It is real big to get an offer from Coach Ewing. He is trying to recruit the best players in the area, and he is like a role model to everybody because of what he did at Georgetown and in the NBA."

While Georgetown is one of the latest schools to step up and offer, the program that is most familiar with Harris is West Virginia. Bob Huggins and his staff have made Harris a priority for over a year now.

When it comes to the Mountaineers, Harris said, "I love West Virginia. They are a powerhouse school who always plays hard. They came to me during my sophomore year and said I was a priority. It is just a great school and I love the atmosphere there."

At this point Harris is in no hurry to make a decision and says he is just focused on getting better and improving his perimeter game.
