One of Colorado’s top prospects in 2019 had an impressive showing this weekend at the adidas Gauntlet in Emerson (Ga.).
Kenny Foster, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound wing from Aurora (Colo.) Smoky Hill played with the Colorado Hawks 16u squad.
Foster has good size, the offensive versatility to play the two and three on offense, can really shoot it, plays hard and has a high basketball IQ.
“I like to think that I do a little bit of everything,” Foster said. “Defense, offense and definitely shooting. I’m working on my passing, becoming a better shooter and my quickness.”
Foster, who holds an offer from Air Force, says he has a dream school.
“Definitely Stanford,” he said.
Given Foster’s 4.0 GPA, it’s no surprise that academics will play a role in his recruitment.
“I want a school with great academics and a great basketball program,” Foster said. “I’d like to stay close to my family on the West Coast.”
