Four early offers for 2020 SoCal PF Evan Mobley

Evan Mobley is a skilled four man with early attention. Here's the latest on the 2020 SoCal prospect.

One of the West Coast’s top 2020 prospects is Evan Mobley, a 6-foot-10, 190-pound power forward out of Temecula (Calif.) Rancho Christian.

Mobley is a skilled four man with good size, length and versatility.

“I’m a good driver and I can shoot. I like to stretch the floor and take opposing bigs out of the paint,” Mobley said. “I’m still working on getting stronger and a little bit of defense.”

Even though Mobley hasn’t finished his freshman year of high school, he already holds four offers.

“I have offers from Alabama, UCLA, USC and San Diego State,” Mobley said, before breaking down what he likes about each program.

Alabama: “I like everything about them.”

UCLA: “It’s a top school right now and I could see myself going there.”

USC: “It’s a close rival school to UCLA and I can see myself there.”

San Diego State: “I like their style of play. I feel like I can fit into that program well.”

Mobley has an idea what will be important to him in a school.

“I’m looking for a good basketball program and education in case basketball doesn’t work out,” he said.
