Combo guard Will Richardson is one of the more versatile players in the class of 2018. The Georgia native can play any spot on the perimeter and brings a lot of skill and athleticism to the table. Now he is seeing his recruitment pick up, and he is thinking of making a few visits in the near future.
"The spring is going well and my recruiting has picked up a lot from coast to coast so that has been good," said Richardson.
He continued, "I am focused on being more of a lead guard, and just getting stronger."
On the recruiting trail things have become very busy for Richardson who is fielding a lot of calls.
"It’s been kind of crazy," said Richardson. "I have picked up eight new offers since the start of April, so that has been real good."
When it comes to potential visits, Richardson said, "I know for sure I’d like to visit Clemson and Florida soon, and then I would also like to see USC and Arizona State out West."
About the Clemson Tigers, Richardson added, "Clemson says I am their number one recruit. It is also close to home and it is a good basketball program. I also like that I know they really want me."
Also Florida is very intriguing to Richardson who likes the success of the Gators program.
"It is a good basketball program," said Richardson. "They made it to the Elite 8 and I know the coaches really want me. It is just a good program and I like the coaches so I am interested in them."
For now Richardson says he wants to make visits before deciding and there is no specific timeline for a commitment.
