Four-star wing Jordan Tucker commits to Duke

Duke picked up their fifth commitment of the 2017 class, as Jordan Tucker announced a pledge to the Blue Devils.

Four-star recruit Jordan Tucker announced a commitment to Duke on Saturday.

Tucker picked the Blue Devils over Syracuse. Tucker picked up a scholarship offer from last weekend and opted to take an official visit on Wednesday and Thursday.

"I was about to narrow it down to just Syracuse," Tucker told Scout on Friday. "Then Duke came in and I wasn’t sure at first, but my visit changed my perspective on everything and it made my decision even harder."

With the addition of Tucker, Duke now has a five-man recruiting class that also includes five-star prospect Wendell Carter and Gary Trent, as well as Alex O'Connell and Jordan Goldwire.

Duke is still in contention with and potentially the favorite for Trevon Duval, one of the nation's top point guards.
