Ignas Brazdeikis continued his strong spring at the EYBL

EMERSON, Ga - Four-star forward Ignas Brazdeikis is one of the better natural scorers in the class, and he continues to put up big numbers in the EYBL.

It has been a very productive spring for Ignas Brazdeikis. Brazdeikis has been one of the best pure scorers in the EYBL, and he showed why again on Saturday getting to the rim and making threes. With his ability to put the ball in the basket on display, college coaches continue to make him a major priority.

About the spring, Brazdeikis said, "It has been a good spring. I have definitely stepped up my game since last year."

He continued, "From last year to this year I have gained a lot of muscle mass. I am a lot stronger physically, and then I think I have also really improved my handle."

On the recruiting trail numerous schools continue to make Brazdeikis a major priority.

"I am hearing a lot from Michigan, Connecticut, Florida, Vanderbilt, SMU, Oklahoma, Washington, and a few other schools," noted Brazdeikis.

The Wolverines and John Beilein have definitely been one of the schools most active in the recruitment of Brazdeikis, and he likes everything about the program.

"I just like their offense and how they play the game," said Brazdeikis. "I have a real good connection with Coach Beilein and Coach Jeff Meyer. Just that whole situation really intrigues me."

Also the Florida Gators have been working hard to be in the mix with Brazdeikis, and Mike White has built a good relationship with him.

"I really like Florida," noted Brazdeikis. "I like Coach Mike White. We talk a lot, it is a great conference, and I have been to their facility a few times and it is a great place."

Beyond just picking a school, there has been some question as to when Brazdeikis plans to enroll in college, but he seems pretty set on not re-classifying.

"I am definitely leaning toward staying in 2018 right now," he said.
