Since getting out of his Letter of Intent with Dayton, things have really picked up for Nahziah Carter. An athletic wing who is making big strides, Carter has made a one official visit, and another is being thought of.
"I think I have been playing pretty well," said Carter. "I am trying to make the most of my shots, get my teammates involved, and just help us win."
On the recruiting side of things, a lot of schools remain very interested in Carter.
Recently Carter made a trip to Georgetown, and he liked what he saw.
"I loved it there," said Carter. "It was nice. Coach (Patrick) Ewing was a good guy and the whole staff treated me nice. I liked the campus, and it was just a good visit."
In terms of another visit, one school is already in mind.
"I think I am going to make a trip out to Washington soon," said Carter.
When asked about the Huskies, he said, "I really like Coach (Mike) Hopkins. I liked him at Syracuse, and now he is at Washington, so I figure I will give them a look."
While no visit to Indiana is planned, Carter obviously has a good relationship with Head Coach Archie Miller, and he remains open to the Hoosiers.
"We talk here and there," said Carter of Indiana. "They just tell me that they believe in me and that he recruited me for a reason, and he would recruit me anywhere."
At the moment Carter says he is leaning toward being a member of the 2018 class, but no final decision has been made.
