Trayce Jackson-Davis keeps showing major improvement

Indianapolis native Trayce Jackson-Davis continues to make major strides on the court as new offers are coming his way.

It has been a very good spring and early summer so far for Trayce Jackson-Davis. The big man with tremendous bloodlines is showing major improvements on the court, and also is beginning to reel in more offers off of it.

"I thought I had a good spring," said Jackson-Davis. "I am trying to work on my outside game a little bit, and just getting better each and every time out."

On the recruiting trail Jackson-Davis has long held an offer from Purdue, and added Iowa and Butler (old staff) in the spring, and now another offer has joined the mix.

The Xavier Musketeers offered Jackson-Davis after an impressive showing at their team camp.

About Xavier, Jackson-Davis said, "I am scheduled to visit next week or a little after. They’ve reached out to me a few times and they say they like me a lot, and they just offered me, so that was good. I am looking forward to learning more about the school."

Another school that is really picking up the interest is Indiana. Jackson-Davis will be in Bloomington soon, and he continues to be in contact with the Hoosiers.

"I am going there for an unofficial in June," said Jackson-Davis. "They say they really like me a lot and they are going to recruit me hard, so it is good with Indiana."

While those schools are just now turning up the interest, Purdue has been heavily involved for a while.

About Purdue, he said, "I like Purdue a lot. Coach (Matt) Painter and his staff are great. I like how they utilize their bigs on the inside, so I think it could be a good fit."

For now Jackson-Davis is in no hurry to make a college decision.
