Nassir Little talks St. John's visit and updates his recruitment

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Five-star forward took a recent unofficial visit to St. John's and continues to see his recruitment expand.

Five-star forward Nassir Little was one of the biggest stock risers of the spring. The versatile forward saw his recruitment explode, and recently took an unofficial visit, and continues to hear from more schools.

About his spring overall, Little said, "The spring was really good for me. It was really fun to showcase my ability, and get more college interest."

On the recruiting trail a huge group of schools continue to make Little a priority.

"St. John's, Oklahoma State, Florida State, Florida, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, Kansas, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and some others," said Little.

About his recent trip to St. John's, Little said, "They play at Madison Square Garden and I got to see that which was nice. We got to see all of the things that most people don’t get to see when they go there so that was pretty cool because there is a lot of history there."

He continued about the Red Storm, "It is a small campus, but it is very nice. The thing I liked the best is there is a place on campus where you can see the 9/11 Memorial. I have a close relationship with the staff. Coach (Chris) Mullin likes my game and he feels like I can come in and play immediately."

Another school that could get a visit is Oklahoma State. New Head Coach Mike Boynton and his staff are recruiting hard in Florida, and Little is interested in them.

"I don’t know too much about them, but I talk to the coaches a lot," said Little of the Cowboys. "They are trying to build up the program and do something special."

One school that has been recently involved is North Carolina. The Tar Heels keep monitoring Little, and are potentially going to offer after seeing him in July.

"They really like my game and my versatility," said Little of UNC. "I just talked to Coach (Steve) Robinson (Thursday) night and they say they are going to watch me in July."

While some other schools are working to get visits, one place Little has seen multiple times is Florida, and the Gators remain right in the heart of this recruitment.

"They’ve been recruiting me for a while and I’ve taken a few official visits there," said Little. "It is close to home which is a plus and I am familiar with the campus and the facilities, so I like them a lot."

Look for Little to make several visits before coming to an ultimate college decision after July.
