Gay Set For First Visit

Rudy Gay is finishing up and aggressive slate of in-home visits. The Archbishop Spalding forward takes his first trip this weekend and weighs in on who's had the best in-home visits with him.

Connecticut will be the first official visit for No. 10 forward Rudy Gay. The Archbishop Spalding stud doesn't know what to make of official trips since this is his maiden voyage.

"I don't know what to expect so I guess I am [fired up]."

Regardless of what happens on the UConn visit, it appears that Gay will take more trips, possibly even five official visits. His list reads UConn, Maryland, Kentucky, Syracuse, Clemson, Villanova, Georgetown and St. John's. All but Maryland and Georgetown have been inside his home for visits this month.

Gay was asked which schools conducted the best in-homes with him and said UConn, Villanova and Syracuse were his three best to date, with the Hoyas and Terps still waiting their turn.

The forward said that he would like to decide in the early period if at all possible.
