West Coast Rankings: 2005 Centers

Amir Johnson, Brayden Bell and Brett Hoerner are among the top centers in the class of 2005...

Johnson is a terrific shot-blocker, a very good athlete and he possesses a very high upside. Bell is the most skilled big man in the west, with the ability to step out and shoot it from beyond the stripe. Hoerner needs to add some weight, but he's got great timing as a shot-blocker and he's shown the ability to step outside as well. Warren and Byrd are both long and active athletes who have a chance to move higher with some improvement in their skill level.
