One-time Penn State commit Willie Morse, a 6-3, 195-pound senior wing guard, decided to end the process after a weekend visit to St. Bonaventure.

``It's an opportunity for me to play at a really high level and play right away," Morse said. "Coach (Anthony) Solomon and the staff are unbelievable and I think they'll really turn the program around."

Morse, who averaged 13.5 points per game as a junior and scored 33 in the state title game victory, gave a verbal pledge to Penn State coach Jerry Dunn during his senior season but re-opened his recruitment shortly after new coach Ed DeChellis took over.

``We were headed in different directions," he said.

Morse, whose biggest asset is his perimeter shot, also took official visits to Colgate and Florida International.

Morse joins Ohio point guard Isiah Carson as the Bonnies pledges for the 2004 class.
