Goldwire had a good but not great summer and probably flew under the radar for most of the fall. Charlotte had a good evaluation on him, moved quickly and locked him down.
There will be minutes for the taking after the season in Charlotte. Goldwire is expected to get early minutes but knows they won't come easy. "First, when I come in I might be a backup and work my way up. I'll have to be a leader but I'll be young."
Young, talented and committed to Charlotte. That's just how Lutz would like to have it as we motor towards signing day in November.
