Chris Miles Stays West

Chris Miles was down to three schools - BYU, Gonzaga and Utah State. The Utah native wrapped it up on Thursday night and made one west coast program pretty happy.

Brigham Young coach Steve Cleveland is getting it done.

The Cougars have already locked up Texas 6-8 1/2 forward Trent Plaisted and recently were able to persuade Arizona wing Lee Cummard to choose BYU over hometown Arizona State.

Now Cleveland has added Timpview (Utah) 6-10, 220-pound senior center Chris Miles to the equation. As first reported by TotalBlueSports.com, Miles committed to BYU on Thursday night.

Miles, who had yet to take any official visits, also considered Gonzaga and Utah State.
