Three New Schools For Langford

Basketball runs in the Langford Family. Keith Langford is a standout for Kansas and brother Kevin is going to play high-major next year too. The question is where?

Fort Worth (TX) North Crowley senior power forward Kevin Langford visited Virginia and Stanford already. He won't be going to either. For various reasons, he's no longer considering either school and his recruitment could last until the spring.

"Right now, I'm really leaning towards signing in the spring," Langford said. "My other schools, they found some people. Then, I was kind of hanging out and now I've got some schools looking at me now and they haven't been able to evaluate me yet."

Among the handful of schools interested but needing more time to evaluate are California, Northwestern and Seton Hall.

"I want a program that has players that act like a family and the school has to care about academics. Somewhere that might not be a top dog, but they have to be able to compete with other teams in their conference."

Last season, Langford averaged 21 points a game. He competed last summer with Wes Grandstaff's Team Texas squad.
