Horford Is Gator Bait

Since his de-commitment from Michigan, Al Horford has sung the praises of the Florida Gators. Well, he's finally made the pledge.

Florida basketball is alive and kicking and Billy Donovan's recruiting machine is clicking on all cylinders once again. On Monday evening, the Florida Gators locked down another outstanding prospect.

Al Horford, TheInsiders.com's No. 55 prospect, committed to the program after making a recent official visit.

"Florida was the school that I always wanted to go to," Horford said. "When I went there it was everything that I was expecting."

And we all expected a commit from him to the Gators so this should not come as a shock.

"I think it'll be a good fit for me. I like their style of play and I just think that I can go in and contribute right away."

Finally, Horford feels at peace with the college decision." I actually feel pretty good now. I'm pretty happy. I'm glad that this is final. Me, my dad and everyone agrees with me. I'm all set now. I just didn't feel 100% [with the first commitment]. This time I'm positive."
