Iguodala Down To Four

Andre Iguodala, a small forward from Springfield (IL) Lanphier, is down to four schools. Iguodala has made one official visit and has three more set up for the month of October.

Maryland Is Out

Andre Iguodala's list just shrunk by 20 percent. Maryland is no longer among the teams in the running for his signature. "I cancelled the Maryland visit," Iguodala said. "They just signed someone and they were my fifth school so I wasn't going to go there anyway."

Remaining in the hunt for the AAU MVP is Boston College, Arizona, Kansas and Arkansas. Boston College really made up some ground during his official visit. "The players there were real cool. Usually you go to and teams and players are split up. But, their whole team hung out with each other. That was cool."

The last time we spoke with Iguodala, he maintained that Arkansas and Arizona led. Right now, that's not the case anymore. "I'm not so sure about that," Iguodala said. "BC was a real good visit and they were kind of like third. Now, all of them are kind of even."

Arizona locked up the weekend of Oct. 13 and will have him in for Midnight Madness. Kansas is the following weekend and Arkansas gets the final visit the weekend of Oct. 27. Iguodala said that everyone wanted him to come in for Midnight Madness, but Arizona moved quickest and locked him into the date.
