Bradley Takes Visit, Improves Game

IMG Academy point guard Ramel Bradley is making a key visit this weekend. He's headed to one of the nation's elite basketball programs.

Ramel Bradley, a 6-3 point guard from IMG (FL) Academy is visiting Kentucky this weekend, according to his coach Tony Tucker. A fall signing should happen for Bradley.

"It's going to come down to the wire," Tucker said. "He's going to Kentucky this weekend. After this he's going to Boston College and I think he has one more on the table. I want to say Georgia. I think it's going to come down between those three but he wants to try and do something sooner than later."

Pittsburgh had been in the picture but it appears as though the other three – BC, UK, Georgia – are stronger. Regardless, he would appear to be Kentucky's prospect to lose at this point.

Bradley is a high-energy guy. He's a scoring threat from his guard position and loves to play fast. Tucker is encouraged with the strides he's made during his brief time at the Academy.

"He's in a really good position right now. It's amazing to see where he's come from. We first had to get him in the right mindset to work on his game everyday. Our kids train every single morning and he wasn't in that mode to work on his game.

"Now, to see him come from that to now where every part of his game has gotten 100% better. He's a much smarter player and he makes better decisions."
