Weber To Decide Soon

Decision day is drawing near for Mount Zion guard Albert Weber. He's looking at three schools and it's a close call.

Albert Weber, a 6-2 guard out of Mount Zion in Durham, N.C., is going to announce his decision prior to the first day of the signing period. Weber (No. 51, has narrowed his focus to Alabama, Connecticut and Arkansas.

He visited UConn and Alabama already and took his official visit to Arkansas last weekend.

"It went fine down there," Weber said. "I went to the scrimmage game. The fans were showing me love. It was fun down there. I liked it."

When asked if the Arkansas trip made his decision a little more difficult, Weber sounded off. "It did make it a little harder."

Look for the decision to be made either Monday night or early Tuesday morning. Weber said that on Sunday night he wasn't sure which direction he was leaning. Alabama has been there the longest, having held a commitment from him since the spring.

Personalities and relationships with players will weight heavily into his decision. "If I have the coaching staff that made me feel comfortable. It'll be the players and how I fit in with the players and the coaching staff. Being comfortable with the players and the coaches is the most important thing."

Weber is expected to sign on Wednesday.
