Emanuel Willis, a power forward who is prepping at Hargrave Military Academy, made a commitment this weekend. The native of Mississippi will sign this week.
, a power forward out of Chatham (VA) Hargrave Military Academy, visited three schools this fall. The most school – Southern Cal – was able to procure a commitment from him.
"Emanuel Willis is going Southern Cal," Hargrave head coach Kevin Keatts said. "Since he's been here, he's always been intrigued by those guys and he had a very good visit this weekend."
Willis played last season at Mendenhall in Mississippi. He visited Cincinnati and Virginia Tech before tripping to Trojan land last weekend.
Willis is an energy guy at the power forward slot. He's extremely athletic and has plenty of bounce to his game. He's a shorter version of Texas forward James Thomas, another Hargrave alum.
"One thing Emanuel is learning to do and by him going on a few of the visits, he's learning how hard college players play day in and day out. He's picking up good habits and he's starting to bring it everyday."
